We pissed some people off with the gender swapped Valentines, but we made far MORE people really happy and that is a great sign. I honestly wouldn’t want to make any ignorant people happy with my art.

The point of the Valentines was to draw something fun and sexy for Valentines day, but they also couldn’t help but display certain hypocrisies in the way men and women are portrayed in super hero comics.

A lot of people seem to think being sexy is only for females and being strong is only for males. However, as evidenced by every strong female athlete and every smoking hot male model, those people are wrong.

Diversity in comics is something that is very important to me. Much of the world and the people in it aren’t tailored for these pissed off people and they’ll have to get used to it someday, because a lot of other people like to read comics too.
