Satyr and Swan
I got some charms made.
Just finished reading Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, it’s a lovely book. I loved the movie as a kid but never read the book for some reason. The movie is very different but I still love a lot about it. Both are great things.
Eric got me the book, he made sure to get a very old copy that used to belong to a library, thick cover, old smells, perfect.
Here’s a Valentine I made for YOU.

This is a little piece I did for my portfolio site this year when I was redesigning it.
She is partially inspired by Tableau Vivants or living statues from the 1800’s where women would wear skin tight white body suits and powder their hair to imitate famous statues.
Who knows if the website will ever be done, somehow I never ever have any time to actually make it. I’ve been trying to make a new since…2008? Woo boy.
My friend RJ makes monster movies with his group Team Splash and he hired me to do the cover for their latest project. It’s a DVD collection of all their recent shorts.
RJ made the title/top half, the illustration is based off of their short about a monster called “the conjoiner” who goes around sucking people into his body!
Haha, “Master Beta”.
I grew up with these dudes, they are the funnest dudes! You can check out a few of their shorts on their VIMEO page here:

There’s an excellent interview with Ryan North up on Comics Alliance right now about his choose-able path book To Be Or Not To Be on Kickstarter! It features my illustration from the book of one of the Ophelia endings. This book is so great you guys and I am so excited to be a part of it!
“But, honestly, the format and title came to me first while I was driving — “To be or not to be! It’s structured like a choice, almost like a choose-your-own-ad OH MY GOSH I HAVE TO DO THIS!” — and then I had a minute or so of all the possibilities exploding in front of my mind’s eye.”
