A GORGEOUS article by Andrew Wheeler on Comics Alliance today:
“As Pride Month draws to a close, ComicsAlliance looks at the intersection of comics and queer identity. We convened an expert panel of cartoonists, writers, editors, journalists and more to vote on the comics and characters that had the most impact on them. With their help we’ve created the Comics Pride list of the 50 most important comics and characters to LGBT readers.”
I contributed some thoughts to this as well as a whole fantastic slew of LGBT comics creators!
Here are two other comics I LOVE TO DEATH that you may not have heard of but could be on that list!
Liliane Bi-Dyke! I started reading these waaay back in 2005 and they really widened my scope about a lot of LGBT subjects. If you are a fan of Kate Leth, Erika Moen and Danielle Corsetto I don’t think it’s too far fetched that you’d like Liliane too!
That Kind Of Girl by Molly Kiely
This book is so sexy. Cowgirls, how can you go wrong? I was introduced to Molly’s work in college and I instantly fell in love. You MUST get yourself a copy if it! Some of her other books like Diary Of A Dominatrix are available on Amazon as well.
